If you would like to use Splashtop WiredXDisplay for your Android device, but you run into situation that the app just keep in waiting for connection (with a spinning shape), it means some setting in your environment is incorrect.
In order to make your Android device work as extended display for your PC, in general, you need to make sure your environment meets the following criterias:
- You have the latest version of Splashtop WiredXDisplay Agent installed on your PC, you can always visit this page to check if you have the latest one: www.splashtop.com/wiredxdisplay
- You have enabled “Developer Option” and “USB Debugging”, and also “trust” the computer, because this app needs ADB (Android Debug Bridge), see the following screenshots as a hint about these options. Both of these window will be automatically popped up in case you need to enable/grant, please make sure you’ve enabled/granted.
- You need to have the appropriate Android Device USB Driver installed for your device on the PC, in most cases, Windows will automatically install it, but, due to the reality of Android fragmentation, in some cases, you need to manually install the Android device USB driver to make it work, here is the table listed for popular Android brandings ( source: http://developer.android.com/tools/extras/oem-usb.html)

I have done everything asked of me to do according this tutorial, yet I am still unable to connect my Samsung A7 Lite as an extended display via Splashtop WiredXDisplay .
Enabled “Developer Option” and “USB Debugging”, and also “trust” the computer - Check
Can see device in list - Check
Installed Android USB - Check
Yet I still get: USB Driver for Android IF you would like to use your Android as the extended display, you need to install the proper USB driver for your Android. Please visit this page (Blank Page) to learn more.
Please tell me what could be the problem and how many more time do I have to put in a new driver?
