Why can’t I get response to mouse-click on macOS 10.13?

Having a problem getting the mouse to click? This may be because of the “Lock keyboard mouse” option is enabled.

We're aware of the problem with Mac OS 10.13 and working to fix. For now, please try the following:

1. Open the Streamer

2. Click on the “Security” Tab, scroll down to the bottom

3. Uncheck “Lock keyboard and mouse” setting

Note:

  • If you’re running Splashtop Streamer 3.1.6.0 or earlier version, you may experience the mouse clicking issue due to the “Enable blank screen” option is enabled, we highly recommend you update to the latest version of Streamer.

Recently I'm having trouble getting the mouse click to work.  I have Ver. 2.6.8.0 for the App and 3.3.0.1 for the streamer.  Both are telling me that it's fully updated.  I've turned on and off the lock keyboard and mouse to no avail.

Is there any option to recognize stylus pen input on an iPad after mirroring a PC to it? Everything works perfectly fine except it is not recognizing stylus pen writings but it works when holding the mouse icon displayed on the Splashtop screen and writing with the pen. Would like to know if there is an option doing it directly without holding the mouse icon down? TIA

I have the same problem. I can see the screen but the mouse does not work. I can't click with the mouse. I have the version of streamer 3.3.6.0 and Mac os X 10.15.2 on a Mac Mini. I have a Macbook Pro with the same configuration and it works perfectly. What happens?

Same.  Perfect connection.  Can see screen.  No mouse or keyboard response.  Running OS X 10.15.3 and Streamer 3.3.6.0.  Have no issues with iMac running OS X 10.13.6.  All security and sharing settings are the same on both computers.

Same Problem. I can see the screen, but keyboard and mouse don't work. I don't have the 'Lock Keyboard and Mouse' selected and I am fully up to date.

I tried going through all the permissions in System Preferences and un-checking and then re-checking them so OSX would restart splashtop with the permissions. Unfortunately, no change.

I also tried uninstalling splashtop (with the uninstall script in the .dmg package), reboot, re-install splashtop, reboot, still the same problem.

Hopefully it gets fixed soon. It seems with 10.15 things have been buggy. Thanks apple for making my mac more secure... I guess... So secure, apps that used to work fine, don't work at all. :shruggy-man-with-angry-face-emoji:
