I want to subscribe to Anywhere Access Pack or Productivity Pack. How do I do this?

If you have downloaded the "Splashtop Personal" app (previously known as the "Splashtop 2" app) from the Apple app store, Mac app store, Google Play, or Amazon store, and want to subscribe to Anywhere Access Pack or Productivity Pack, please follow the instructions below to purchase it:

 

I. From "My Splashtop"

You can subscribe to Anywhere Access Pack or Productivity Pack on My Splashtop, and pay for them with a Credit Card or via PayPal.  And, please note that the feature you subscribe to here will be applied to all Splashtop Personal apps, including Splashtop Personal for iOS, Android, Windows, and Mac OS.

II. From iOS devices  (It is similar to Android devices):

1.  Make sure you have logged in with the same Apple ID you used to purchase Splashtop 2 (now known as "Splashtop Personal") on your iPhone/iPad/iPod.  If not, it might cause the subscription to fail, but still get charged by Apple.

2.  Make sure the In-App Purchases option is ON as shown in the example below.  Otherwise, you may get an error message like "In-App purchases are not allowed."  You can find this option in Settings -> General -> Restrictions -> In-App Purchases.

3.  Create a Splashtop Account.  If you need instructions about how to create one, please click here.

4.  Make sure the Splashtop Personal (Splashtop 2) app on your iPhone/iPod/iPad is v2.1.0.5 or newer.

5.  Make sure your iPad is connected to the Internet, then log in using your Splashtop Account on Splashtop Personal (Splashtop 2).

6.  Check Settings --> Splashtop Account --> See your purchase here  in the Splashtop Personal (Splashtop 2) app, or just hit the "upgrade" (up.PNG) button in the computer list.  You will see a detailed subscription table.

 

 

NOTES:  

a)  It will show "the end date of current subscription" if you had subscribed to it.

b)  If your iPad has been JailBroken (JB), please don't use it to subscribe to the Anywhere Access Pack or to subscribe to the Productivity Pack.  This may result in a subscription failure on our system, but at the same time it might still be charged by Apple.  In this case (if your iPad has been JailBroken), please subscribe directly from our website  (my.splashtop.com)  instead.

c)  For Android devices, the Purchase page will not be available unless your tablet and Streamer are on different networks.  When you see a "satellite" icon on your Streamer, clicking the Streamer will bring you to the Purchase page which contains two buttons, for a 1-year subscription.

7.  Two subscription plans are available for both features at this moment:
         a)  Anywhere Access PackYearly $16.99 ($U.S. Dollars, not a fixed price). 
         b)  Productivity PackYearly $16.99  ($U.S. Dollars, not a fixed price).


8.  You could still check the detailed Splashtop Account info on My Splashtop.

    Splash top says it can't complete my purchas amd it cant access the iTunes store despite the fact that I am connected to the Internet. My settings are correctly configured to allow in-app purchases as well.

    Have you tried my.splashtop.com? It's more direct and easy to manage your Splashtop account status.

    Dont really get this! Do I need a subscription to use the remote ? I can not get pass the subscription screen anyway. Ans im on the same network.

    If your android device and computer are connecting to a same router and got 'satellite' icon, probably it's blocked by firewall, please check this link for more info about firewall settings adjustment.

    Can I use my @me.com account or does it have to be gmail account? I am able to log in to Google with my .me account.

    @Mike115,

    Splashtop account(for Splashtop 2 apps) can be any email address, gmail credentials is only for Splashtop v1 apps for Internet Discovery feature.

    If you are using Splashtop v1 app, and want to connect them from different networks, you have to login your gmail on both client device and streamer(Advanced tab). Basically, it should be a @gmail.com or googlemail.com, if you can login with your .me account on Advanced tab, maybe you can have a try.

    So, does that mean if we use Splashtop 1.x we can access from different networks for free, but for Splashtop 2 users we need to pay the package? What's the theory behind this? Why bother using Remote Desktop when I am home, it only take me 5 sec to walk to my computer. The reason I purchased this app before I want to access my home PC from office. I won't spend my money if I know I have to pay extra to REMOTE MY DESKTOP. Can I refund it?

    Splashtop 2 apps use a different way from v1 apps on connections over Internet.

    v1 apps relies on google server(on Mountain View), we don't have any control on it. Splashtop 2 relies on our own relay servers(on Amazon), it provides a more fast, secure and reliable connections with SSL-AES encryption. However, it costs us regular maintenance fee, so we charge users here.

    This app has VERY limited use when not using it on the same network as the computer you want to stream from.  Requiring a subscription instead of a one time fee does not make this a free app.

    Sure, it is exactly what Anywhere Access feature provides, but you will need to keep your target PC alive which means not go to Sleep or Shut-down state to make it connectable.

    I purchased the AAP via my Samsung Galaxy 4S/ Google Play. The purchase is showing in my bank account, however, it is NOT appearing as a purchased item in my Splashtop account.  What's going on?  Why is not appearing since I did purchase it?

    I purchased Splashtop remote HD last year for my android.  Now it doesn't work across the internet.  So I purchased Splashtop Access Anywhere.  They charged my credit card but gave me nowhere to download it.  Can't even get into their support site.

    Currently, Productivity Pack is designed for tablet form factors, so, Galaxy Note 2 is not supported.

    If you computer and the device is not on the same network, the data traffic need to be routed through our backend servers, so you need to subscribe to Anywhere Access for this routing service.

    The Anywhere Access service is bound to a Splashtop Account, so, although you have multiple PCs, you do need only one Anywhere Access subscription to access them.

    Where would be the appropriate place to ask if Splashtop could include the note 2 or other smart phones to the productivity pack as I would be willing to spend money on subscribing to this it would work on the note 2 as the screen is slightly larger than other smart phones, but of course would proabably need to be scaled down slightly. I would not mind sacraficing some screen space for this.... Or some kind of support for better intergration with bluetooh mice for games would be great!

    I am going to throw out the old computer and would like to move my account to the new computer. 

    I want my new (Windows 8.1) computer to be the target computer and be able to access the new computer from my android phone and a PC at another location. Please give me simple instructions on how to accomplish this.

    Please follow the steps below to build a Splashtop remote connection:

    1. download Splashtop Personal on the devices which will host a remote connection.

    2. install Streamer on target computer.

    3. log in your Splashtop Account on both sides, Splashtop Personal and Streamer.

    4. log in your Splashtop Account on my.splashtop.com to subscribe Anywhere Access Pack if you want to build a cross firewall remote connection.

    5. keep target computer not go to Sleep or Shut-down state.

    It then will be able to find target computer via Splashtop Personal and build remote connections.

    I purchased the productivity pack instead of just renewing my acces anywhere subscription. CancI have the money used for a subscription renewal instead?

    Please follow the instruction to cancel the Productivity Pack subscription: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202039. Then ask a refund from Apple:

    1.            Go to https://getsupport.apple.com/
    2.            Choose "Apps & Software:
    3.            Choose IOS apps
    4.            Choose "App Store, Itune Store & Music
    5.            Choose "the topic is not listed"
    6.            Type "refund" and press continue
     
    Then please come to our web portal (my.splashtop.com) to start a new Anywhere Access Pack subscription.
