xDisplay을 실행시 아이패드에서 마우스 포인트가 보이지 않습니다. 설정 문제인 듯 한데

    해결 방법을 알려 주세요.
    터치로 동작은 가능합니다.

Running macOS Catalina 10.15.2 and I have not been able to even install the Wired X Display Agent as it flat out says its not compatible with this version of the operating system. When is a fix coming out for this? I used to use this all the time before this OS upgrade and now it isn't going to even install or run?

I have recently tested a new Beta (v.1.3.1.5) of the Wired Xdisplay Agent and it worked fairly well on my MBPro running Catalina 10.15.2

I suggest that you submit a request to be given a Link to download this beta version of the Agent.

    Regards,

    Kirk

I tried to install the current version on your web site (version 1.3.1.3) on my mac (Running macOS Catalina 10.15.2).  However, Catalina stopped the installation and reported that "This package is incompatible with this version of macOS.  The package is trying to install content to the system volume".

    Hi Guys,

I have sent in a Request to Splashtop for them to release the Beta v.1.3.1.5 to all of you that are asking for help on this topic.  The cursor functions of the Beta do not work 100%, but it is highly useable, and useful to those of us who like this product.

I recommend that you all click on the "Submit a request" Link at the top of this web page and ask them to allow you to test the Beta v.1.3.1.5 as well.  They sent me a private download Link in response to my earlier requests.

If they do release it to you, then please be helpful to do some testing and report any issues in a helpful manner (ie carefully describe what you are doing and what you are seeing when something is not looking quite right).  Don't just say "its broken"  That is not helpful.

    Cheers !

I am having the same connection problems - iPad Pro running v.1.2.2.83478 and Macbook Pro, 2015, running macOS Catalina 10.15.2 with Xd version 1.3.1.5.

Just flicks between the 'Connecting Now' and 'Connect to your computer messages'.

If there is a Beta link to a new version, then can I have it too.

    Thanks,

    Chris

I had the same issue Chris.

i had to give permissions to Splashtop/wiredxdisplay:

    System Preferences>Security&Privacy>Accessibility>

I hope that fixes you up. Beta has been fairly nice to me.

Chris, the current Beta version of the XDisplay App is 1.3.1.5

If you are using this version then you are up to date, for now.

We are all waiting for the next Beta release, or hopefully the next official release from Splashtop

I have collected my ipad air 2 wired up and its still not working, its saying in the tab that Apple Mobile Device service is not detected on my computer. I have iTunes and already have restarted my Apple Mobile Device service too many times and still not worked, this application suck! :/

Hicertman2  -  the Wired Xdisplay App on your iPad needs to connect with the Wired Xdisplay Agent running on your Mac computer.  If the Agent is not running on your computer, then the iPad has nothing to connect with.

Did you get a copy of the Beta version 1.3.1.5 of the Wired Xdisplay Agent ?

You also need to run the Agent first, and configure the Security Settings on your Mac before connecting the iPad

Hi for anyone having trouble this is how I fixed mine:

So it wasn’t working but I opened up iTunes and it showed Up mirroring my screen.

For it to extend my screen, I went to the bottom corner and there is a speech bubble. I click on that, and I click project button. I click extend screen and it works!

Working on MacOS Mojave (10.14.6) with version 1.3.1.5!!
    Steps:

    1. Disable Show mirroring options in the menu bar when available in System Preferences->Displays

    2. Manually load the drivers with terminal (it will fail) with the 'system policy prevents loading' error - but you need to try:
    - sudo kextload /System/Library/Extensions/SRXDisplayCard.kext

    3. Open System Preferences -> Security & Privacy -> General -> Allow the Driver.

    4. Run to load the drivers:
    - sudo kextload /System/Library/Extensions/SRXDisplayCard.kext
    - sudo kextload /System/Library/Extensions/SRXFrameBufferConnector.kext

    5. Open SplashTop Xdisplay on your phone

    6. Open SplashTop Xdisplay on your Mac - it will probably crash your MacOs !!

    7. Reboot - Open SplashTop Xdisplay on your Mac again - 'now' enjoy.

    Cheers,

    MaaT

Working great on MacOS 10.15.4 Catalina and iOS 9.3.5 on an iPad2 after:
ensuring the iPad was detected by iTunes
enabling Splashtop accessibility in privacy tab (in security and privacy in system preferences)
allowing Splashtop accessibility in the general tab (in security and privacy in system preferences)
Note: Mac OS crashed the 1st time. everything is fine so far after
