I am extremely upset that this installation process is more challenging than usual.  I am running OSX 10.7.5 and this uninstall step does not work on my machine.  When I try to delete any files or folders related to this app I continue to get messages indicating that the app "is in use".  When I click on the uninstall script, step 3 above never happens.  I do get step 4 immediately after double clicking the uninstall script.  Afterward it does nothing and all files remain.  After restart all files remain.  You should also note to customers that they should not arbitrarily delete the SPLOG.txt as I did after seeing this rogue folder sitting in my shared folders.  Deleting this as part of an uninstall attempt makes things even worst.  I had to reinstall the application to get the SPLOG.txt file back so that I could begin to use the uninstall script.  I am unhappy that this has complicated what was a good system.  I would appreciate your help in uninstalling this application.

Me too! it's a shame you build a software that is impossible or too difficult to uninstall. For sure I'll never buy anything again from you.

i had Splashtop 2 installed on my Macbook Pro running Mt Lion and upgraded to Splastop Personal, and now have both apps in my Applications folder. Is there a ST2 uninstaller or step by step instruction how to uninstall ST2 manually so I'm left with just newest ST Personal app?
