what is my security code?

I have installed Xdisplay on my iPad, but it is asking for a security code. How can I set or reset that as it is not accepting what I thought it is.

@Paulhopson,

From Streamer, you can see "Others" tab has two boxes for security code, please define/input a code with 8 letters/digits at least mixed twice in these two boxes, then try again. This is a different codes from Splashtop account, however you can use the same codes for them to avoid confusion.

I have made my security code but cannot seem to enter it anywhere on the splashtop 2 app, which says it requires it.

@Alexd123,

On our system, I can see you are using Kindle tablet with Splashtop 2 app.

With the current version, it still doesn't support "Require security code", please disable this option(Streamer/Security tab) to have a work around.

We'll fix it in next update.

@Alexd123 ,

With Splashtop 2 app on your tablet, if you don't remember your password for your Splashtop account, you can reset it from either tablet or streamer side.

I have made my security code.

But I found that the iPad mini can't connected to the mac book air.

iPad shows S=00 E=84000121 on the display.

@Ouchi_1,

What's your client device(ipad? mac air?) and Splashtop app version? If it's a v1 app, please remember to input(define) a security code twice in Others tab, and then use this code on your client side when you are attaempting to connect to your computer.

Only Splashtop 2 requires the Splashtop account and password to login on both client and streamer.

What "security code" do the iOS app need?
This is fucking totally bloody useless. Luckily I tried the free version.

It would be useful to tell users what are "code" requirements when they type it instead just do nothing.

I did not create a security code, but Splashtop 2.5.5.0 says I must enter one. This is frustrating.

Is someone who is on the Splashtop team going to respond to this ?  I'm, also, getting the "Enter Security Code" pop-up when I didn't set one (as far as I remember).  Can't access anything at this point and I'm not finding on the website how to resolve this...
